Successful ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 9001 certification renewal received by Penne NV. 20 June 2012

ISO/TS 16949 is a quality standard for suppliers of products to the automotive industry. It specifies the quality system that must be applied to the design, development and production of all automotive products. It is an indispensable quality standard for suppliers to the automotive industry. The certificate encompasses all our activities going from R&D, tool design over tool shop to the mass production of metal and plastic parts of the highest quality.

This standard is the first global quality specification to be developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF). All North American and Western European car manufacturers participate in IATF and so have endorsed the new standard. While not yet members of the IATF, Japanese car makers have also been involved in the development of ISO/TS 16949.

Recognizing that ISO/TS 16949 would become the industry standard, Penne NV took the necessary steps to secure certification well ahead of the transition deadline of 2006, when the former QS9000 standard was superseded. Implementation and certification of the ISO/TS 16949 quality system is a key component in helping Penne NV aspirations – to provide high-tech solutions for metal and plastic parts of the highest quality
